When attending your next GETDOT event, be sure to introduce yourself to Chris Ray. He would love to chat with you.
Born in Akron and raised in Mount Vernon, Ray enlisted in the United States Navy after high school.
He served aboard a ship during Operation Desert Storm and later earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Welding Engineering from Ohio State.
By day, he works for a Tier 1 supplier for Honda . . . but by night, he’s transforming bodies and changing lives as a personal trainer. His interest in fitness helped lead him to create a moveable device that can help gym owners incorporate boxing routines for their clients. You can get a peek at his invention by clicking this link!
Clients don’t have to come to Ray – he can come to them wherever they like because he’s insured. This means he can arrive at their homes, their gyms, outside his house, etc.
“I just received my sports nutrition endorsement from ACE (American Council on Exercise), so I’m more prepared to handle questions regarding nutrition,” Ray said. “Janel Northington (who won my 3 sessions from GETDOT) and I had 3 really good training sessions. My favorite training technique is circuit training, and I think that building core strength and proper form are essential to stay injury-free.”
Rob Frink, one of our board members, introduced Ray to GETDOT – but he immediately felt welcomed by all.
“Being a father of two healthy boys, I understand the significance of the organization,” Ray said.
