Nicci Sprouse is all about introductions.
This comes in two forms. For one, she sits on GETDOT’s board and regularly attends events. Through these special evenings, she often meets fresh faces and is more than happy to make connections.
If you see her at a meeting, be sure to say hello. She’ll be glad you did.
But she’s also all about bringing other people together. Sprouse is the President of A-List Introductions, a personalized Columbus-based service to help folks find their “special someone.”
Her company is “designed for successful singles seeking a unique, high-end, offline method for meeting sought-after, emotionally available, commitment-minded singles.”
If you’re looking to reverse your single status, it’s likely worth making your own introduction to her.
“My unique approach aligns science with emotional intelligence, producing the opportunity for a truly profound and authentic connection,” Sprouse said. “Infusing my intuitive nature and natural skill set for connecting people, whether it’s professional or personal, along with my entrepreneurial spirit, made becoming a business owner — and published dating and relationship columnist — a natural progression for me.”
In fact, she has six years of experience and more than 500 interviews under her belt.
“I am motivated each day by having a career that is my passion,” she said.
Sprouse’s road to GETDOT was the same as many others – through a friend.
“At the time, I had only lived in Columbus a few months, which made exploring networking organizations and attending social events essential,” she said. “Being warmly greeted by ‘Bret Michaels’ aka GETDOT co-founder Chip Ramsey (at an annual Halloween event) solidified instantaneously for me that these were great people and I needed to come back the following month! In all seriousness, as a first impression, the group was FUN, promoted community, charity and camaraderie – I was hooked.”
GETDOT found its way into Sprouse’s heart, which led her to step onto the groups’ board. She’s been a member for four years now.
“Being affiliated with an organization that was awarded the best networking organization in Columbus by Columbus CEO Magazine is a huge feat, in and of itself; I am proud of this achievement for our group,” she said.
“Philanthropy is GETDOT’s core, and a great way to for me to ‘give back’ by contributing my time/efforts to the board. I find it incredibly rewarding knowing our organization works with smaller, local children’s charities where our donations directly impact their bottom line,” she added.
The good-hearted mission of the group isn’t the only thing keeping Sprouse in her board seat. It’s the friendly and warm individuals she interacts with on a regular basis.
“Connecting with people, building rapport and establishing relationships always came easy to me, but I especially treasure and continue to foster the relationships I’ve created through GETDOT,” she said. “In fact, my fellow board members are like family to me.”
Fun Fact: Sprouse’s favorite event each year is the annual trip out to Huntington Park.
“It’s always held in July so it’s warm, plus it’s fun to watch the game from a balcony in the Hall of Fame Bar,” she said. “Every year, we take over the entire Hall of Fame Bar and collaborate with HRACO (Human Resource Association of Central Ohio) on this event, making this one of our largest annual events – the more, the merrier!”
